Idea #6: A Potion Shelf From a Witch’s Kitchen
Amber and green glass bottles with cork stoppers turn any bookshelf into an apothecary corner. Save interesting bottles all year, soak the labels off, and group them with a candle and a couple of small pumpkins.
Vary the heights and let one bottle hold a single stem of dried flowers. If your bottles are clear, a few drops of food coloring in water gives you instant ‘potion’ colors. Keep labels blank for a classy look, or print vintage-style labels if you want the full haunted apothecary effect.
