Idea #23: Ghost Chairs at the Dinner Table
Slip white sheets over your dining chairs, add simple felt eyes, and your dinner guests will be seated by a committee of ghosts. It sounds silly because it is — and it is also the most fun your dining room will have all year.
Old white sheets or cheap white fabric both work; let them pool slightly on the floor for that floating look. Keep the eyes simple — two ovals, slightly uneven, is peak ghost. Photograph the table before guests arrive, because this setup was born for your camera roll.
