Idea #24: The Witch Broom Porch Corner
Lean two or three rustic brooms in a porch corner with pumpkins and a glowing black lantern, and you have told a whole story — the witch is home, she just stepped out — in one square meter of porch.
Thrift-store brooms are perfect; the more worn, the better the story. Stand one broom upside down for that just-landed look. The lantern should be lit by dusk (battery candle, timer on). Add a small pile of pumpkins at the base and your existing porch decor suddenly has a plot line.
