Idea #19: A Glowing Pumpkin Pathway
Line your front walkway with carved glowing pumpkins and trick-or-treaters will choose your house from half a block away. It is the classic Halloween welcome — warm, golden, and pure nostalgia.
Alternate carved faces with plain drilled-dot pumpkins for variety, and use battery candles inside so nothing blows out. Start carving on the 29th or 30th so they look fresh on the night. A few extra pumpkins uncarved on the porch steps fill out the scene while you sip something warm and watch the parade.
