Idea 22: Warm Up Shelves with Copper Accents
Copper is fall’s metal — warmer than silver, softer than gold. A copper pitcher, a couple of Moscow mule mugs, or even copper-toned candlesticks on your bookshelf or console catch the light with a rosy glow that flat-out screams autumn. You don’t need much; three small copper pieces grouped together read as intentional, while one lone item looks lost. Thrift stores are copper treasure chests — real copper mugs for $2–4. Polish lightly or let the patina build; both look great.
