Idea 1: Drape a Chunky Knit Throw Over the Sofa Arm
Nothing says fall faster than a thick, nubby knit throw tossed over one arm of the sofa. Look for chenille or cable-knit in cream, oatmeal, or warm camel — these neutrals work with literally any couch color. Fold it in thirds lengthwise, then drape it so about a third hangs down the front. The trick is making it look casual, not staged: give one corner a little tug so it falls naturally. HomeGoods and Target’s Studio McGee line both carry great ones for $25–35, and they photograph beautifully for that cozy vibe.
