Idea 14: Organize Inside Cabinet Doors
The most underused square footage in any kitchen is the inside of the cabinet doors. Slim mounted racks hold spices, lids, cutting boards, or cleaning supplies — all invisible when closed, all instantly accessible. A two-tier spice rack for inside a door costs about $12, and lid organizers are under $10. Measure your door depth first (most fit 2–3 inch deep racks). This single trick can empty an entire shelf, which means less stuff competing for counter and shelf space — and less visual noise overall.
